WELLINGTON COLLEGE OLD BOYS
ADDRESS BY CAPTAIN OF ALL BLACKS'
An address on the All Blacks’ visit to England was given by Mr J. Manchester to a well-attended meeting of the Canterbury branch of the Wellington College Old Boys’ Association last night. Mr A. E. Oaddick presided. Many amusing incidents were mentioned by the speaker, who also said that on the return to New Zealand he was met at almost every port by prominent Rugby officials. There was no doubt that Rugby helped to increase the good feeling between different countries, said Mr Manchester. The high reputation New Zealanders had in England had been fully maintained by the All Blacks, he said.
