NAVIGATION WARNING
A warning to shipping issued by the Marine Department at Wellington states that, with the repairing of cables In Cook Strait, an unllghted oil-drum buoy has been laid in a position with Pencarrow Head, bearing north 77 degrees, distance 2J miles.
BANKS PENINSULA SERVICE
Because of the falling off in trade during the winter months, the Banks Peninsula steamer John Anderson began her winter time-table this week, and will run on Tuesdays only, calling at all bays.
