MAN'S FATAL COLLAPSE

The inquest was opened yesterday into the death of Hugh William Minchin, a storeman and carrier, aged 55. who lived with his wife at 105 Flockton street, St. Albans. The coroner. Mr E. C. Levvey, adjourned the inquest sine die. after evidence of identification had been given by Nathaniel Gordon, who worked with Minchin. Minchin ' was employed by John Chambers and Son, Ltd.. and was unloading parcels oft a truck in Worees* ter street on Monday afternoon, when he collapsed. He was taken to the Chrißtchurch Public Hospital in a St. John ambulance, but he was dead on his arrival there. _
