LODGE MEETINGS

Primo L. Champ presided at a meeting of the Woolston Lodge, R.A.0.8., and welcomed Primo F. Miles (Provincial Grand Secretary), Sumner Lodge. Primo E. A. Clark reported attending the church parade at Lyttelton on Anzac Day. and was thanked for his report. Primo W. Chammen was congratulated on gaining the royal chair at the Lyttelton Lodge. All brothers were requested to attend the Druids' Hall on Sunday afternoon. Fraternal greetings were received fiom Sydenham. Ashburton. Timaru, Yt Petitor, Diomede. Lyttelton, and Sumner Lodges. Items were given by Ero, J. Knighton. Primos L. Champ, C. Ward, F. Miles, and W. Chammen.

Trie Noble Grand. Bro. C. O. Free, E resided at a meeting of Washington odge, 1.0.0. F. The syllabus for the quarter, as presented by the committee, was accepted unanimously by the lodge. Two candidates were proposed iui membership. Bro. H. Tullett, P.G.. stated that this year would be the twenty-fifth anniversary of the North Canterbury Encampment, and requested all patriarchs to attend the meeting on May 20. The lodge was then closed, and a progressive euchre tourney was held, the prize-winners being:—Ladies, Mrs Tullett, sen., 1, Mrs Simmons 2; gentlemen. Bro. W. Martin 1, Bro. I. Manson 2. The evening closed with dancing to music supplied by Bro. T. Burns.
