Negligent driving of a motor-truck round one cf the worst bends on the Rimutaka hill was alleged in the Supreme Court to-day by Thomas Walton Robertson, a linesman, who claimed damages totalling £2134 Is from Ling Sing, a Chinese general merchant, whose lorry collided with the plaintifTs motor-cycle on February 18. It was alleged that Ling Sing was on the wrong side of the road, and was travelling at between 25 and 30 miles an hour. After a hour hours' retirement, the jury disagreed. A new trial was ordered.
