VACANT SEATS ON LEAGUE COUNCIL
NEW ZEALAND’S CHANCES DISCUSSED LONDON, April 15, The Australian Associated Press has been informed by league circles that New Zealand’s chance of securing one of the non-permanent seats on the League Council, which are falling vacant in September, when Argentina, Australia, Denmark, and Portugal retire, are promising, as New Zealand is expected to obtain the support of Britain and the other Dominions.
Another possible Empire candidate is South Africa, but as she has already held the presidency of the .assembly and New Zealand has obtained no honours, the latter’s prospects are preferred.
