TO THB EDITOR 07 THE PBEBB. Sir, —Could you or one of your eaders inform me as to date and pariculars of an occurrence which hapiened at Brisbane some 48 to 50 years go? A flood came down and one of he large steamers broke adrift and rounded on the Botanical Gardens, t was left there high and dry when he flood receded. Some weeks later nqth_er flood came and the ship was vashed back into the river.—Yours, :tc, CURIOUS. March 30, 1936.
