RADIO INTERFERENCE
to THB EDITOR OR THE PRESS. Sir, —I would like to add my protest to those of your other correspondents about the “Roarer,” which interferes with radio reception in Christchurch every evening. It is impossible to get any station outside New Zealand between 0 p.m. and 10 p.m Also, it is very difficult to get any but the high powered local stations between 700 and 1500 kilocycles dur-
ing these hours. We have been assured from time to time that the Post and Telegraph Department is making enquiries into the matter, but it seems that this is all the satisfaction we shall get, unless the listeners get together and raise their voices in protest. As things are at present, it is not worth while paying for a receiving license. Trusting the listeners of Christchurch will not let this matter drop until the offender is stopped.Yours. etc., FED UP.
