MOTOR-CYCLIST FINED £5
Two separate constables saw John Henry Price riding up Papanui road on a motor-cycle on February 14, and each stated in the Magistrate’s Court yesterday morning. to Mr E. C. Levvey, S.M., that his speed was much too fast. Constable W, W. Devine, ,of the St. Albans station, said that Price had caught up' with another motorcyclist and had gone across the Leinster road intersection at 40 miles an hour., Constable O. Wilkes saw him Opposite St. Andrew’s College, when he was still going fast. On, a charge of riding a motor-cycle In a imanner which might have been dangerous to the. public Price was costs,; and fur not having an - efficient silender was fined 20s and ordered to pay- iosts,- -■ ' - "" "v.'v r .
