HUMANITARIAN AND ANTIVIVISECTION SOCIETY
At the monthly meeting of the Humanitarian and Anti-Vivisection Society, pleasure was expressed at the receipt of a letter from Sir Charles Statham, expressing his happiness in continuing to be the society’s patron. It was reported that the society was co-operating with the City Council in finding homes for stray and lost dogs with excellent results. The society was in complete hahnony with the work of the Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, and hoped by combined effort to secure amendments to the Cruelty to Animals Act, during’ the parliamentary sessions.
