doings of the month The Home Service Girls’ Club has had a busy and interesting month. Its meetings have included St. John Ambulance instruction, a talk on French girls and their avenues of employment given by Miss G. Boblnreith, a travel talk by Mrs Virtue, and an enjoyable twenty-first birthday partym honour of Miss Mavis Davidson. On behalf of the members, Miss Emd Robertson presented Miss Davidson with a suede glove case, expressing the tions and good wishes of the club, JMiss Davidson gave a birthday cake for the supper. Competitions were won by Miss Betty Rowe and. Miss Enid Robpi’tsibn The * club is grateful to friends who have kindly given books for the library; these the girls are Covering in blue and goldh-their club colours.
