It Was found necessary to postpone the annual Kalkoura ewe fair, which was to have been beld yesterday, until Tuesday next, because of the flooded state of the rivers and the impossibility of shifting any stock. The weather cleared on Thursday afternoon at 3 o’clock, and the Sun shone brightly for a while. Oddfellows* Lodge Bro. G. Nilsen, N.G., presided at the meeting of the Loyal Heart of Oak Lodge, held in the lodge room. Four members were declared on the sick fund, and one member was declared off. Card Evening The second of a series of card evenings, organised by the Kaikoura Croquet Club was held in the Oddfellows’ Hall on Thursday evening. Mrs R. Reardon won the women’s prize and Mr A.
