SUMNER CLUB The Sumner Pigeon Flying Club opened its season with a young bird flight from cwjverden with good weather and a ftidfe wind. The winning bird, T. Campion's Scottish Mac, new the distance in Ihr Bfimin 475e0./i., -'■ Hhe results were as follows:—T. Campion's Scottish Mac, 862.2 yards a minute; U and C, Ford's Kismet, 858.7 yards: A. Wight's Sporting Lass, 818.8 yards; W. Wright's Try Again, 816.0 yards; H. Ford's Averil,. 815.7 yards.
