FIVE RACES HELD AT LYTTELTON Sailing conditions at Lyttelton were good on Saturday afternoon, when the Canterbury Yacht and Motor Boat Club held five races. A light easterly wind was blowing, and conditions for a junior race were excellent. Elfin led from the starh and the only boat to challenge her was Solace. Following are the results:— Elfin (D. P. Hitchcock), 7imln. OSTEER CUP The third race for the Ostler Cup was held at South Brighton by the Pleasant Point Yacht Club yeaterday afternoon. There was a light wind and the water was smooth. The results were:— Treasure, 6mln (E. Rountree) . . 1 Aloha, 15mln (E. Turpin) .. .. 2 Saltaire, lOmln (B. Christensen) .. 3 Usher and Miami also started.
