TAXI HITS POST
Frederick Gaskell, a taxi-driver, of 31 Cecil street, was admitted to the Christchurch Public Hospital with injuries received when the taxi ne was driving along Colombo street, towards the hills yesterday afternoon slewed off the road and struck a telegraph post There was no passenger in the taxi at the time. The vehicle was very badly damaged, and after the accident was facing the direction from which it had come. ~-_,.,_
