VISITORS' NIGHT AT CHESS CLUB
An open night for visitors will be held by the Canterbury Chess Club tomorrow evening at Inglis Buildings, corner of Cashel and High streets, at 8 o'clock. There Will be exhibitions of blindfold chess and of simultaneous chess against all who come. Four kinds of blindfold knights' tours which have never before been made will be attempted. It is hoped to secure 100 entrants for a lightning tourbey, 10 seconds being allowed for each move.
