As the money in hand was not sufficient to run a picnic and break-up, it was decided to canvass the district for subscriptions, and Messrs C. Bilbrough, F. Herbert, and C. H. McCausland were appointed canvassers. The following sub-committees were elected:—Finance, Messrs C. Bilbrough, J. Steele, A. Boulton, F. Herbert, and A. Stott; transport, Messrs Bilbrough, F. Barltrop, F. Herbert, R. Manson, and C. H. McCausland. The Weather Since the beginning of November rain has fallen on 10 days at Kimberley for a total of 2.32 inches, the heaviest fall being on Wednesday, when 61 points fell. The ground is now well saturated, and farm work is being held up.
