CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
NOMINATIONS FOR COUNCIL
Ballot .papers for the election of 20 members of the council of the Canterbury Chamber of Commerce were mailed to members of the chamber yesterday. There are 24 nominations for the 20 seats, and the ballot will close at noon on Monday, September 23. The result will be announced at the annual meeting of the chamber on the evening of the following day. The ballot paper is circular so that candidates will enjoy no alphabetical or other advantages.
