ROYAL CHRISTCHURCH MUSICAL SOCIETY
In its second concert of the 1935 season the Musical Society is departing from its usual programme. Instead of doing one large work, the society will present a particularly attractive programme of very varied items. These include solos on the Civic organ by Mr Alan Wellbrock, recently returned from London, where he enhanced his already well-earned reputation as an artist. Master Warwick Humphreys, boy soprano. Miss Nancy Estall, 'celloist, and Miss Winifred Smith, elocutionist, with the two well-known Christchurch vocalists, Miss Hilda Hutt and Mr Ernest Rogers, pre sure to be much appreciated, and will be ably backed up by the chorus under the conductorship of Mr A. G. Thompson, L.A.B.
