NEW BRIGHTON METHODIST CLUB
Mr R. Ilowau was in the chair at the annual meeting of the New Brighton Young Men's Methodist Club. A welcome was extended to the new minister, the Rev. F. Gardner Brown, The report and balance-sheet, which were adopted, showed receipts as £8 18s Id and expenditure as £6 lis 2d. The following officers were elected: President, the Rev. F. Gardner Brown; vice-presidents, Messrs A. E. La wry, F. Wayirtan, and R. Pepperill; joint leaders, lessrs R. Rowan and E. Scott; club captain, Mr A. Hewitt; vice-cap-tain, Mr A. Wayrnan; secretary-trea-surer, Mr T. Hopkins; assistant-secre-tary, Mr J. Roberts. The senior and junior clubs will combine for the present, and will meet each Thursday.
