POULTRY PRODUCERS' FEDERATION

' BUR WOOD BRANCH The monthly meeting of the Burwood branch cf the New Zealand Poultry Producers' Federation was held in the Parish Hall last evening. Mr J. Logins presided. The chairman referred to the appointment of Mr C. Cussen es chief poultry instructor for New Zealand, and it was decided to send him a letter of congratulation upon his appointment. On the motion of Mr G. Wheeler, it was decided to forward a remit to the Poultry Board asking for support of the" universal grading of all eggs sold to the public. In reply to a j question as to why the Waimairi County Council had recently increased the I charges for electricity to poultry producers for their brooders, Mr Liggins replied that as the brooder was a continuous load, the council was compelled to make the increased charge.
