SYDNEY SHOW A RECORD
* TIRNOVER GREATER THAN EVER BEFORE (Received April 25, 9.20 p.m.) SYDNEY, April 25. Officials and exhibitors are agreed that the Royal Agricultural Show which ended on Wednesday was the most successful ever held in Sydney. More people attended, the standard of exhibits was higher, and the turnover was greater than ever before in its 113 years of history. During the nine days 733,516 persons attended the show, which was 57,576 more than the previous record attendance in 1926, and 130,893 more than last year. INTERESTING DOGS FROM NEW ZEALAND (Received April 25, 9.20 p.m.) SYDNEY, April 25. One of the most interesting dog exhibits at the Royal Show was two Salukis sent to Sydney by Mr J. F. B. Stevenson, of Wellington, who is said to be the only breeder of these rare animals in the Southern Hemisphere.
