SYMPATHETIC CONSIDERATION FOR KINGSFORD-SMITH

"All I can tell you is that my proposals received very sympathetic consideration," said Sir Charles Kingsford-Smith, when questioned this evening as to the success of his representations to the Government for the establishment of a Tasman air service.
Sir Charles embarked in the Wanganella for Australia in company with Lady Kingsford-Smith.
