ATTITUDE OF NEW SOUTH WALES SYDNEY, February 20., The New South Wales Education Department is unlikely to follow New Zealand's example and suspend afternoon school during the trying month of February, according to the Director of Education. Mr G. Ross Thomas. Mr Thomas states that, apart from the fact that there is no evidence that the hot weather is adversely affecting the children's health, the closing of the schools in the afternoon would cause too much disorganisation.
