COURT-MARTIAL OF REAR-ADMIRAL
ACCIDENT DURTNG MANOEUVRES LONDON. February 19. As a result of the collision between H.M.S. Hood and H.M.S. Renown on January 26, during manoeuvres near Gibraltar, Rear-Ad-miral Bailey and Captain Tower of H.M.C. Hoed and Captain Saubridge of H.M.S. Renown will be publicly court-martialled shortly. Rear-A jmira] Bailey will be the first Admira' to be court-martialled since the war. The "News-Chronicle" points out that only four admirals have been court-martialled since 1856; all were acquitted. ..».._
