CARGO SPACE INCREASED Since she was last at Lyttelton. structural alterations have been made to the Maui Pomare by the building of a 'tween deck in the space formerly occupied by the well of the after-hatch. The alteration provides insulated space for an additional 900 cases of bananas. The vessel's tonnage has consequently been increased from 1159 tons to 1204 tons. The Maui Pomare is to leave Lyttelton at noon to-day for Wellington. CRUISER DUE THIS EVENING H.M.S. Diomede is to arrive at Lyttelton at 6.30 this evening from Queen Charlotte Sound. She will berth at No. 4 East.
