«> NEW ZEALAND ASSOCIATION The management eommittco of the: New Zealand Hockey Association met last evening. There were present Messrs If. S. J. Goodman (chairman), P. N. Quartermain, H. Throp, R. Gracie, C. C. Holland, C. S. Bellamy, W. H. Down, I. Gunn, S. G. Holland, and A. Preston. The amended rules were received from the Hockey Association, England, and adopted for use in men's hockey throughout New Zealand. Owing to the visit of an AU-India hockey team this season, if was decided regretfully to decline the invitation to send a team to Australia this season. I'he following cablegram was received from tin: All-India Hockey Kcderalion: "India accepts invitation to send learn (<> lour New Zealand this season." The actual date o£ the team's arrival in New Zealand, it was stated, was still the subject of discussion between New Zealand and India, but in all probability the team would arrive in cilher Auckland or Wellington in the middle of May next for a 10 weeks' tour of New Zealand. A request from (he Australian Association for the All-India team to include Australia in the tour was discussed, and linal decision held over pending further information from India. Messrs 11. S. J. Goodman, C. C. Holland, P. N. Quartermain, and \V. H. Down were appointed to deal with urgent business of the tour of the All-India team. The cost of the tour and the amount 1o be charged to provincial associations was discussed at length, and the question was held over pending the receipt of definite information as to the personnel of (he Indian team. II was decided to hold (he annual mceling of delegates on Tuesday, April 30.
