Fat lambs were responsible for a greatly increased yarding of sheep at the Oxford market yesterday. The bulk of the entry was fat sheep, and the top price of 25s for fat lambs was secured by Ivory Bros, with a pen of 37. The range of prices was: Fat lambs 18s lOd to 255, ewes lis 7d to 12s 7d, and wethers to 21s 4d. (CONTINUED ON PAGE 15)
