Reserve Banks wore firm, with sellers and business at £6 12s 9d, Buyers at £6 12s. Buyers of National Insurance raised their bids to 22s 9d, but sellers were reticent. Dalgetys firmed to £8 13s Gd, market closing £8 12s 3d buyers, £8 13s sellers. New Zealand Refrigerating, fully paid, eased to 20s 9d, and more were offered al 20s lOd, buyers at 20s 7d. Staples Brewery shares, cum dividend, changed hands at 335, and there were further buyers at 32s 9d, sellers at 33s 9d. Buyers ol Electrolytic Zinc, preference, cum dividend, advanced their offers to 33s Cd without attracting sellers. New Zealand Newspapers were firmer, with buyers at 345. Buyers ol Woohvorths (New Zealand) ordinary raised their bids to £»9 5s 6d. sellers firm at £lO.
