Bank ol' New South Wales were firm at £3l ss, market closing 5s either way. A late sale of Bank of New Zealand "D" Mortgage shares on January 30 was reported at 28s 9d, and buyers to-day offered 29s 4d without attracting sellers. Reserve Banks wore firm, with sellers and business at £6 12s 9d, Buyers at £6 12s. Buyers of National Insurance raised their bids to 22s 9d, but sellers were reticent. Dalgetys firmed to £8 13s Gd, market closing £8 12s 3d buyers, £8 13s sellers. New Zealand Refrigerating, fully paid, eased to 20s 9d, and more were offered al 20s lOd, buyers at 20s 7d. Staples Brewery shares, cum dividend, changed hands at 335, and there were further buyers at 32s 9d, sellers at 33s 9d. Buyers ol Electrolytic Zinc, preference, cum dividend, advanced their offers to 33s Cd without attracting sellers. New Zealand Newspapers were firmer, with buyers at 345. Buyers ol Woohvorths (New Zealand) ordinary raised their bids to £»9 5s 6d. sellers firm at £lO.

Mining I Alexander Mines, fully paid, had dealings at prices ranging from 17s | 9d 10 19s 3d, closing quotations 19s t buyers, 19s Gd sellers. Brian Bonis were easier, with sellers and business at 7d, buyers at tijd. Maori Gully changed hands at is 5d and Is 4.', d. market closing Is 4d buyers. Is 5d sellers, Lawson's Flat were dealt in at 3d, market closing id either way. Mossy Creek were firmer at 2s sd, sellers staying in at that price, buyers at 2s .'id. Rawang Tin were fractionally firmer, with .sellers and business at 8s 2d. buyers at 8s od. Skippers remained unaltered, with buyers and dealings at 6d, sellers at Gid. Worksop Extended were fractionally weaker at 2s lOd, market closing 2s 9d Olivers, 3s sellers. Unlisted Stocks Wool worths 'Sydney;, ordinary, had dealings at 91s 9d, 91s 6d, and 91s, and 'here were further .sellers at 91s (id, buyers :U 90s 6d.
