ADDITIONS TO SCHOOLS

RETORTS TO EDUCATION BOARD Plans for additions to several schools in the Canterbury district were referred to in the report of the buildings committee of the Canterbury Education Board to a meeting of the board yesterday. The committee reported that plans had been approved for the erection of a dental clinic at the Shirley School, for the remodelling of the school at Burnham. and additions to the school at Redcliffs. The committee reported also that the department had approved of a grant for the erection of additional accommodation at the Timaru Technical School, and asked that The board prepare the necessary plans and specifications and call tenders for the -work.
