PICNICS BY RAIL
Now that high summer is bringing in the big picnic season the executives of schools, friendly societies, factories. commercial firms, and other establishments are turning their thoughts to the annual excursions, which are eagerly awaited by all concerned, particularly young folk. To help the organisers in these pleasant tasks, the Railway Department is ready to distribute new issues of the free booklet "Picnics by Rail," which gives all manner of helpful information, including concession fares and selected lists of gr<?unds suitable for picnic purposes, with details of the controlling bodies, accommodation, and facilities for sport and general amusement. Copies are obtainable from any railway booking office.
