ST. JOHN AMBULANCE BRIGADE
[WORK OF THE WEEK | LBy SPLINT.] [This column ii contributed weekly by a responsible officer of the St. John AmbU" lance Brigade, and in it all matters relating to first-aid may be discussed. Correspondence is invitad and questions will be answered.] The St. John Ambulances attended to 95 calls for the week, 17 of which were accident cases. There were 10 country calls which necessitated the coverage of 664 miles. The total mileage for the week was 1036. Divisional Notes Members of the St. Matthew's Nursing Division assembled at the brigade rooms on Monday afternoon for public duties and general transport work. Final arrangements were also made for the termination of the year's work. The lady superintendent, Miss Conway, and members of the division wish to take this opportunity of extending to all district officers, corps officers, and members of the brigade their very best wishes for a bright and prosperous New Year. Christmas and New Year Greetings "Splint" wishes to convey Christmas and New Year greetings to all members of the St. John Ambulance Brigade, who have so ably helped him with this column throughout the year, and trusts to hear from them all after their divisions come out of recess in the New Year.
