ARRANGEMENTS MADE FOR ROYAL VISIT tfUSSS ASSOUUTIOX TELEGBAM.) AUCKLAND, November 22. The cruisers H.M.S. Dunedin and H.M.S. Diomede returned to Auckland from Melbourne, via southern ports, to-day. Both warships will remain at , Auckland until December 12, when, accompanied by H.M.S. Leith and joined later by H.M.S. Laburnum, they will leave for Wellington to provide a Royal escort for the Duke of Gloucester on his arrival in H.M.A.S. Aus- '. tralia. i The New Zealand warships will 1 meet H.M.A.S. Australia off the coast, < and all five ships will carry out exercises before they enter port. H.M.S. < Dun.xlin and H.M.S. Diomede will be ( at Wellington from December 15 to ] December 20 and will return to , Auckland on December 22. Only H.M.S. Diomede will make a summer cruise to New Zealand ports after Christmas. Her itinerary will be Gisborne February 7-13; Wellington, February 14-21; Nelson, February 22-23; New Plymouth, March 1-5; Picton, March 6-8; Wellington, March 8-9; and she will return to Auckland on March 11.
