PEEL FOREST
Mrs G. H. Dennistoun presided at the monthly meeting of St. Barnabas' Guild. Stall-holders for the bazaar to be held on November 22, were appointed as follows:—Work stall, Mrs G. H. Dennistoun; Christmas presents Mrs J. M. H. Tripp; afternoon tea, Mesdames S. Upritchard and W Macphail; produce, Mesdames D. Rutherford, F. Claydon, and H. J. Rees; jumble, Mesdames G. R. Wooding and J. Smith; Christmas tree, Mrs Y. H. Robinson; ice cream stall, Miss R. Blissett; clock golf, Mr W. Jenkins; cake stall, Mesdames W. Inglis and A. Allen; Young Crusaders, Miss O. Barker. The final social of the Workers' Educational Association was held in the library. Various accounts were passed for payment, and £1 Is- was voted to the box scheme of Canterbury College. The evening was spent in games and competitions.
