♦ NEW MINISTER WELCOMED (PRBS3 ISSOCIATIOK TELIGR4IU I WELLINGTON, October 15. I The Baptist Conference this morning welcomed the Rev. Alexander Hodge, new minister at the Tabernacle, Auckland, and he was received as a member of the Baptist Union of New Zealand. Estimated payments for grants and other purposes were authorised to the I extent of £2134. Addresses for the League of Nations Union, the New Zealand Alliance, and the Students' Christian Union were delivered, and promises of support 1 were given to the deputations.
