RAWHITI DOMAIN BOARD
+ The Rawhiti Domain Board met last evening, the Mayor of New Brighton tMr E. A. M. Leaver) presiding. The North Beach Progress League wrote stating that it was prepared to assist any body having the object of constructing a swimming bath, and should the site which had been reserved for that purpose be chosen, the league was prepared to transfer its lights or to co-operate. Until some definite step was taken the league retained all its rights. It was decided to reply that the contents of the letter had been noted, and that the league would be notified if action were determined. A request from the New Brighton Amateur Athletic Club for permission to have a jumping pit placed in the domain as in the previous summer was j referred to Mr W. E. WilMns.
