PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, HORORATA The nnnual flower shoiv, bazaar, and sale of produce, etc., of the Hororatu Presbyterian Church, organised by the Ladies' Sewing Guild, waß held in the Hororata Public Hall on Saturday afternoon. There was a fairly good attendance, and stallholders were kept busy. Those who had charge of the stalls were: Needlework stall, Mcsdames K. Murray and A. Tuer; ice cream and sweets, Miss K. V. Quartermain and Mrs S. Gibson; produce stall, Mrs T. E. Pearson and Misses Milne and R. Barrett; flower stall, Mrs E. Clucas and Mrs B. Clucas; bran tub, Miss E. Chapman and Mrs Magon; refreshments. Mesdames H. Yoates, W. A. Nelson, Misses B. Wilson and M. Hockridge. A concert was held in the evening, there being a good attendance. Two plays were produced by some members of the Coalgate Women's Institute, and another play by a party from Greendale; songs were sung by Miss Bates and Mr E. Ridgon, recitations were given by Mrs S. Worsfold, a 'cello bolo by Mrs D. Bulmer, and orchestral items by Miss Bates, Mrs D. Bulmer, and Mr Hicks Usher. The results were: —
