WALKER BEATS DETTON (rKE33 ASSOCIATION TCUdIUII.) WELLINGTON, October 8. Hurled through the ropes early in the fifth round, Dean Detton, the American wrestler, could not regain the ring within the specified time and George Walker was awarded the verdict in the Wellington Town Hall this evening. Up to then each man had secured a fall, Walker taking the first with a dump in the third round, and Detton in the fourth after a series of short-arm scissors.
