4, CANTERBURY WINTER SHOW RESULTS The live weight of the fat pig (7841b) and the dead weight of the fat sheep (921b) were declared to be correct, in the presence of Mr J. S. Neville, Town Clerk, Christchurch, and Mr E. H. Marriner, organiser, Canterbury Winter Show. The results are:— Live Weight of Fat Pig, 7841b—First prize, Mrs F. Clement (280 Wainoni road) and J. L. Fleming (Bryndwr), equal. Both guessed correct weight of 7841b. The above two winners will divide first and second prizes—£7 7s and £3 3s. Second prize: A. Weavers (Killinchy) (7851b); W. R. Musson (Rangiora) (7851b); W. Alderdice (28 Leitch street) (7851b); Mrs L. King (Mount Somers) (783 ib). The above four second prize-winners will share the Ihird prize of £1 Is. Fat Sheep (dead weight, 921b)—First prize: Miss Earshman (Hurunui) 1921b): second prize. Mrs N. Brown (39 Rugby street) (9131b); F. Evans (94 Holly road) f92}lb): "The Guesser" (Lake Coleridge) (9241b). The above three second prize winners will share the second and third prize money (£2 2s and £1 Is). The prize money will be posted to winners.
