—■♦ HARBOUR LIGHT THEATRE "It's a King" a hilarious British comedy-feature starring Sydney Howard, is the chief attraction at the Harbour Light Theatre to-night. The short subjects include "Forestry in Australia," a Fox Australian News, and an Ideal Magazine. A special double-feature programme will be shown to-morrow afternoon. It will consist of an Ideal Magazine, "It's a King," and a thrilling western drama, "The Texas Cyclone," starring Tim McCoy. Plunket Society The public meeting convened for arranging the Plunket Society's annual street appeal, was held in the Council Chambers last evening, the Mayor (Mr W. T. Lester), presiding over a satisfactory attendance. Arrangements were completed for holding the appeal on Friday, September 7, with cakes, produce, and flower stalls as in previ- ! ous years. The committee is desirous of a recruiting collection and also solicits contributions for the stalls, notification of which should be given to the secretary, Mrs A. E. Chrisp. ARBOUR LIGHT THEATRE.
