"Whitford fChristchurch Working Men's Club) and W. Karaitiana (KaiaPOi Working Men's Club) at the Sydenham Football Club's rooms before a large attendance of members and visitors last evening Whitford winning comfortably by 300 to Karaitiana s 10Whitford's breaks were 72 and J~, and Karaitiana made breaks of 21 and 23. Mr W. Kctt was the referee. The lirst game of the semi-finals will fake place on Mondav evening at tnc Returned Soldiers' Association rooms between A. Albertson (Lyttelton). the Dominion champion, and R. Whitforci 'Christchurch Working Men's Club), at 7,30. The second game of the semifinals will take place at the Cnristchurch Working Men's Club rooms on Tuesday evening at 7.30. At the conclusion of the Canterbury championships a snooker championship will be held. Nominations will close with the secretary on September U
