CONCERT AT NORTH BEACH
The Memorial Hall at North Beach was filled for the North. Beach School concert last evening. The appreciation of the audience was demonstrated by the rounds of applause, which greeted the various items.. The success of the concert was due la.geiy to the training given the children by the headmaster, Mr V. W. Colvllle, and his staff. The programme was contributed to by all grades in the school, from primer classes to Standard VI., and consisted of choruses, folk songs, folk dance*, a court scene from "Alice in
Wonderland," a scene from the "Merchant of Venice," and concluded with a play, "The Purloined Pic." Mrs E. B. Deihl was accompanist. Mr Colville briefly thanked those present for their support.
