Earlier, presiding, it was decided to have the trees surrounding school trimmed back, and to destroy the gurse at the plantation at Grange road. Mr V. S. M. Warner 'headmaster) reported thai arrangements were well in hand for Iho combined school concert in aid of the dental clinic fund, and it was decided to extend an invitation to Mr E. F. H(aly, M.P., and Mr A. D. Briee and members of the Education Board. Sympathy was expressed with Miss Mounsey. The monthly meeting of directors of the Kaikoura Co-operative Dairy Company took place on Wednesday. Mr P S. Humm (chairman) presiding Also present were Messrs J J. Harnett, J. D. Boyd, W. Dalzell, J. A. Mackle, H. Ashby. The Rink Taxis agreed to continue for a further year with their • contract for transport of butter, and the contract was continned.
