WAIMAIRI SCHOOL COMMITTEE

At a rcccnl meeting of the Waimairi School Committee there were present: Messrs Drury (chairman*. Musgrovc, Claude, Harries, Burrell, Dixey, Sissons, Good, and Green (secretary), and J. Noble (headmaster). The headmaster's report showed the roll number as 373, with an average attendance of 307. It was decided to continue the planting of trees at North Brighton this year, in pursuance of the Educational Afforestation scheme. It was reported that Mr W. H. Doubleday had been appointed assistant master, in place of Mr Mottram.
