STUDENT CHRISTIAN CAMP

The Canterbury College Student Christian Movement hclcl a camp at the Presbyterian Social Service House at South Brighton during the weekend. Twenty-five students went into camp and several others attended the study periods, the theme of which was the church. Yesterday morning the students attended the service at St. Faith's Church, New Brighton, and in the afternoon an address was given by Deaconess Spencer-Smith. A student service was held at the camp last evening. , , Among those who attended were Mr and Mrs Alun Richards, who recently returned after cycling across Europe. They both spoke on Saturday evening. The. president of the movement, Mr H. W. Turner, was in charge of the camp.
