REPAINTING POST OFFICE CLOCK
Workmen engaged on contract by the Christchurch City Council started yesterday on the work of repainting the Post Office clock. In the past this has involved the erection of scaffolding, but on this occasion a man suspended in a bo'sun's chair did the cleaning and painting. This work is idone about every four years.
