A largely attended meeting of the North Canterbury Section, Post and Telegraph Employees' Association, held last evening, carried the following resolution unanimously:— "Believing that a lead by the Government in Ihe direction of a restoration of the salary and wage reduction of 1931-32 would immediately engender an ever-widening feeling of confidence throughout the country, resulting in a steadv return to national recovery and prosperity, the North Canterbury Section of the Post and Telegraph Employees' Association requests the Dominion executive to obtain from all centres full particulars' concerning those local bodies, firms, and institutions which have either not reduced salaries or who have since made some measure of restoration: the position when ascertained to be laid before the Government."
