COMMITTEES NOMINATED

Nominations for the committees of the West Chrislchurch and Shirlev intermediate schools closed last night. At 'West' Chrislchurch six representatives of parents were required and only six were nominated, so that no election will be necessary. Those nominated were: Messrs W. Shackle T. Andrews, J. P. Millar, A. F. James. R. Gray, and C. D. Shcppard. Five members of the Canterbury Education Board at present represent the parents on the Shirley committee, but these members will be replaced after next Monday, when the first meeting of householders will be held. The following nominations were received: Messrs C. S. Thompson. T. A. Stanley, J. H. TunniclifTo, F. Brierly J. McLeod, W. V. Stevens, A. E.- Chapman, F. Landrey, and G. H. Weir
