OBITUARY
MR HENRY WALKLEY
(rRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) AUCKLAND, April 23. The death has occurred of Mr Henry Walkley, aged 72, who was well known in insurance circles, having h..d an uninterrupted connexion with the fire insurance business for 58 years. He had lived in Auckland for more than 23 years, before which he was sub-manager for the London and Lancashire Office in Melbourne. He opened the New Zealand branch of the company in 1911, and retired in 1931. He was a member of the Dominion Council of Underwriters, the Auckland Fire Board, and the Auckland Racing Club.
