THREE TOWNS AFFECTED

(Received April 22, 8.41 p.m.) CALCUTTA, April 21. After protracted disputes over hours and wages, labour unions in Bombay, Ahmedabad, and Sholapur have decided to call a general strikv of textile workers on April 23. Sections of the workers, especially in Ahmedabad, are hostile to the decision because of the industry's depressed condition.
